Anna Leigh Ashford

Annaleigh Amanda Ashford (born April 14 in 1980) was an American actress, singer as well as a dancer. Early Broadway performances include Wicked Legally Blonde & Hair. The actress was awarded the Tony Award for Best Featured actor in the Play in the role of Essie Carmichael in You Can't Take It With You. Annaleigh Ashley is a Tony Award winning actor and actress, has worked with directors and actors in stage and on screen throughout all of her career. Ashford was most recently seen as Paula Jones in the new Ryan Murphy FX series American Crime Story Impeachment that is based upon the crisis in America that picked across the country. Paula Jones Monica Lewinsky and Linda Tripp as principal characters for the first impeachment trial in more than a century. Her two-season stint on the CBS show B Positive was her first big role. It was developed by Marco Pennette, Chuck Lorre and Linda Lavin. It also had Ben Vereen and Elizondo. Sunday in the Park starring George Wicked and Legally Blonde are just a few of her Broadway performances. Ashford was raised and born in Denver and now divides her life between Los Angeles, and New York.
